CL: 150 Reasons

It may be hard to keep up with the Roman numerals, but today marks my 150th blog entry. How funny that I discovered upon reading back on my 100th entry that the blog underwent a facelift around that milestone as well!

With age comes responsibility, so the wisdom I impart on you today is this: enjoy life's simple pleasures, the little details that you often easily overlook: the moment between sleeping and dreaming, the first time you open your eyes in the morning, the feel of the sun (or rain) on your bare skin, the cascade of comfort in the presence of a dear friend, the uncontrollable secret smile triggered by a funny memory, the crisp scent of fresh flowers, the softness of your favourite blanket, the satisfaction of your first hunger pang of the day, the body's relief after being on your feet for an extended period of time, the laughter ignited by the few words you chose to string together, the anticipation of the weekend...

Then step back and marvel at the history of it all, the history of yourself: the routines, the surprises, the victories, the defeats, the lessons, the tests, the exhilaration, the stress; the highest high, the lowest low, the coldest dark, the warmest glow; the sunsets, the full moons, the morning dew, lazy afternoons.

I wish you nothing less and everything more.
