This week has gone by very quickly. It's Thursday, guys. And by the time you're reading this, we'll be on the cusp of Friday. (I've always wanted to use "cusp" in a sentence!) Every morning I listen to the radio while I'm getting ready for work and there are a set of commercials I like from Tim Hortons where each day of the week has a different poem. Knowing my aptitude for memory recall, of course I can't remember any specific words from these ads. Just that I like them.
And this is just a lead-in to the glory that is Friday. Fridays hold the most promise because you have maximal weekend time to look forward to (on Saturdays you've already gone through some of the weekend!). You also get that feeling of excitement for what is to come. In my case, SLEEPING IN! But not really since it seems that I always end up having something to do on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Tomorrow I will be heading to Dulcinea Chocolate Café with Olim for some chocolatey paradise. I'm hoping to get a sip of some authentic Aztec hot chocolate and/or Spanish chocolate con churros!
Chocolate con churros in Madrid, summer 2008
Right now Chiara is curled up on my lap and I am finally rewatching the last two episodes of True Blood season one. I had fallen asleep the first time when RaeRae was over for our marathon. Eight months ago.
Edit: I just realized that I had to renumber the past 20 or so entries because I had doubled one of my Roman numerals. I love Latin and hate math. I guess this is how it repays me. It reminds me of the time in high school when we had a pop quiz in social studies and I had numbered my answers incorrectly (I forgot one number) which made me get most of the answers wrong! ARGH I do not like how all my links don't match their titles now!
haha do you remember that really really thick hot chocolate you had in seattle
