It's not often that you get two similarly titled blog entries in a week, but my subject today is an exception to the rule, the girl who puts the "fire" in "firecracker", and also -- and I say this affectionately -- one of the slowest people I know in getting jokes (in fact, we recently discovered that she took about six years to understand one of my references).
CONGRATULATIONS, SMEEKY!!! You had your nursing exam today and are now that much closer to being a full-fledged registered nurse. And even more, you are celebrating by going off to France and Italy for three weeks! I couldn't think of a better way to start your new (professional) life than by relaxing and soaking up the sights, sounds, and smells of the Mediterranean while you can. I hope you enjoy every moment and that you get yourself into some funny (yet safe) situations.
