I go through each day with a seesaw of emotions and (in)decisions. If you were to witness my yoga scheduling habits, you would probably throw a fit. And so it was for blogging today. I had every intention to be in bed by midnight; however, TV-viewing somehow got extended by 45 minutes (I decided to rewatch a few minutes of two recorded operas as well as an Italian interview with a soprano) and then I remembered that I hadn't budgeted any time for blogging.
I decided (a few times, I might add) that I was going to delay this entry until tomorrow, and by that I meant tomorrow night. Instead, here I am doing it anyway and it is tomorrow. Funny how things work out that way. Not. I'm sorry, energy levels and cognition--it looks like you'll have to suffer as you have for the majority of the past few months. Who am I kidding? I have been sleep-deprived for almost ten years if we are supposed to get at least eight hours per night. If there really were sleep banks I would probably be flirting with sleep bankruptcy right now. *Bats eyelashes*.
PS. The travel itch strikes again.
PPS. The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo is a really suspenseful and good read. I have a few pages left and then I'll start its sequel. Near the end there's some disturbing subject matter too gruesome to describe here, but nothing worse than what I'd imagine the Saw movies to contain.
i need a good book to read. i've run out of books so now i read my pharmacy magazine when i go to bed...but at least it puts me to sleep pretty fast!
ReplyDeleteOh Arabelle and her pharmacy magazine. While Lezzie and I were reading fashion, she was contemplating drugs. This reminds me of the time Bel and I practically lived at the beach and I was tanning with my Vogue and she was there with her chemistry textbook!! Geek!
ReplyDeleteI WAS TAKING SUMMER SCHOOL! and hey at least i learned about minoxidil (rogaine) and hair loss during the flight from berlin to paris haha. although it did put me to sleep for most of the flight.
