CXXV: Night

I wanted to sleep earlier tonight so I thought I'd cheat and post a poem I wrote in grade eleven:

Night
The night has lost her way
Mixed up the oceans and skies.
She planned rain and thunder
Not tears in your eyes.
She wanted shooting stars,
A velvet blue stroke.
But paint went dry,
Your heart is broke.
She thought crescent moon
And quiet of man,
Instead full moon blares,
Unleashes Pan.
She hoped fantasy in sleep,
The smiles away.
If only she existed
You needn't face day.

  1. Meuvy! You're such a poet! Well, I knew that already :) Do you still have that black book I made you for you to write poetry in?
