- Work was super busy which meant it went by quickly, in turn meaning I had no time to feel tired
- Though part of me was sad to see my parents go, the knowledge that their flights were not cancelled due to the ash cloud, plus the belief that they will have a wonderful already "fully-packed" journey (in both senses of the word...yes, my mom ended up bringing those white sandal heels), melted any prolonged sadness away from me. That being said, they have left me with a long list of household tasks to do. And not enough pre-cooked meals.
- I finally got to restart my yoga practice after a 2.5 week hiatus
- My darling Smeeky and her boyfriend invited me over for a wonderful home-cooked meal, thus alleviating me of any temporary sense of loneliness, solving my lack of dinner dilemma, and granting me a fun night as a non-third wheel. Thank you, lovers!

CXXIII: No Time for Moping Around (or Sleep)
After getting a (self-inflicted) measly four hours of sleep last night, plus having to deal with my parents' departure, I felt like I was in for a rough day. I was gladly proven wrong since:
