I am having one of those hectic work weeks where I can't remember what I did yesterday and am surprised that it's already halfway through. Do you ever have these?
I love being busy at work. I would take being swamped over having tons of free time any day. It makes me feel useful, keeps me on my toes, and leaves me with a higher sense of satisfaction. Plus, there's the bonus of the work day going quicker. I'm definitely not a fan the never-ending day.
Tonight, I also read one of my favourite blogs (recommended to me by Nicky): The Sassy Curmudgeon. In her Acadumbia entry, not only is the title an awesome pun but she reflects upon the same thing I did a few months ago -- the topic of coming across an old paper and realizing how much smarter you were in university. I wonder if I could catch up to my old ways if I ever went back to school.
PS. Still don't remember my inspiration for yesterday. Blargh!
PPS. I just calculated my expenses for NYC and realized that I went $711 over-budget. I blame the bad exchange rate...and my two new pairs of J Brand Jeans leggings. (Oh god, they don't even cover half of it! Where did my money go? WTML?!)
