I had another busy day at work -- I started early and finished late, which was kind of nice because it gave me less time to my cloudier-than-normal thoughts.
A friend of a friend whom I have never met phoned me today and asked me to sing at her wedding in less than three weeks. This would be my first paid gig and I don't feel like I have enough time to prepare for it! Nothing is confirmed yet and I may have to learn a whole new song. At least this will keep me busy when I'm at home. I don't know what I'll do about the neighbours hearing me practice. Worst of all, I don't know what I'd wear!
