There are good holds and bad holds. I'll proceed chronologically:
Good: I held 2 sets of dolphin plank in hot yoga class today for the full amount of time, along with the side plank variations. When I first started yoga, I couldn't hold this pose for more than a few seconds, so I'm glad that I've progressed this far!
Bad: As soon as I got home, I had to call Shaw Cable to sort out our DVR issues (I couldn't play any of my recordings) and was on hold for forty-five whole minutes. I don't know how much more frustrated I would have been if a) I hadn't gone to yoga class and b) we didn't have a speakerphone. I must say that it felt like we had an extra guest during dinner who would repeat the same lines every couple of minutes about a new option to check your telephone voice messages from your email. My favourite hold? Other than a hug, it would have to be this. Or this. Variations on a cutlery theme.
i went to core for the first time the other day, and it was SO HARD. i had to do dolphin plank a few times. plus OTHER HARD POSES. i thought i was going to die!
