CCXIX: Gluttony in Penticton

Princeton, a small town where we stopped for lunch. Explain this building's function to me please!

RaeRae and I left my house just after 8am this morning to pick up Nicky at the Skytrain station and then Pleuve at her place around 9am. RaeRae made us vegan banana chocolate chip cookies (so moist and delicious, like banana bread and a chocolate chip cookie in one). We stopped in Princeton for lunch -- I had a yummy smoked cheese burger with cream of tomato soup at Belair Restaurant -- and we watched on the patio as locals taking part in the folk music festival walked by in their costumes. Then we headed for Penticton, stopping at Mariposa for fruit on our way, and arrived at our B&B a bit after 3pm.

View from the patio of our B&B

After taking a few photos (some of us took more than others), we went to Main Street for a long stroll. We had 3 hours to kill before our dinner reservation at Theo's; unfortunately there wasn't tons to do even though we took our sweet time walking around so we went in more than an hour early and luckily they fit us in! We ordered purslane salad and kalamari to start. RaeRae and I shared a moussaka while Nicky had lamb shoulder and Pleuve had tiger prawns.

Needless to say, we were beyond stuffed. I wanted to eat some dessert but had no more room. We will definitely be back at Theo's anyway...
