This song is from my favourite band, Travis. They're not very well known, which plays to my advantage since I've gotten to see them perform live twice in Vancouver. I had an awesome seat/view and got to meet the band both times. It's also through their shows that I made a couple of good concert buddies, one of whom I've seen in almost every show I've attended (mainly because I rarely go to concerts and he goes almost every night).
The lead singer, Fran Healy, will be performing at the Vogue in August. I bought my ticket the second my concert buddy told me about it. Even though I don't know any of his solo work.
My favourite band member is Dougie. He's the checkout boy in the video and the bassist of the band. When he smiles it lights up his whole face and you can't help but smile back. He's best friends with Fran...so is a possible guest appearance in the works?
And Ben Stiller has a cameo in this video!
