I mentioned awhile ago that my favourite movie is Amélie. Still keeping with this as-yet-unnamed music series, have a listen to Yann Tiersen's "La Valse d'Amélie (Version Orchestre)". It captures the whimsy, joy, and moments of melancholy of the film. I hope you like it.
Today I finally got to go rock climbing with my travelling sisters for the first time in months. I am not as much of an outdoorsy-sports enthusiast as some of them, so generally I am the one who needs the most convincing to go. This time I was quite excited to hit the ropes and walls again. And I did just that...hit the walls (literally) with my knee and, at one point, head; however, I didn't get as bruised or scratched up as Nicky. That's because she's a rock climbing beast!
I'm still the most novice of the four of us but I was pleased to tackle some tracks (without cheating, I might add!) that I would not have attempted or completed in the past. I can't wait to feel my triceps tomorrow-- we're practically strangers!
yay! i'm so glad that you did some without cheating. my knees are so incredibly banged up!
