Last Thursday, my voice teacher told me that there are "political issues" in the music school I attend. She was informed that a few of the more advanced students did not audition for the Gala Showcase and their teachers are adamant that they be included. This means that some students who were originally accepted will need to be unaccepted in order to accommodate the others since there are a limited number of spots.
As it stands, I would have been the only voice student...so on the one hand I think that is a reason they'd keep me. On the other hand, it may also be why they won't.
The judges decide on Saturday. Where will I be? Getting mah hair cut and pampering myself. I have many relaxing plans this weekend since I get the house to myself for most of it. Bubble bath!
