XLI: Glee

Things are looking up.

I finally got to do something Olympic today during the Olympics! Oli and I went to see the cauldron in Coal Harbour after work and it was beautiful. I love the mood in the city now. It is like Vancouver finally has blood pulsing through its veins. Yes, the streets are crowded and I don't usually like crowds, but when everyone is happy and having fun (vs. panicked while shopping on Boxing Day), and there is no hint of rudeness or animosity; and when you see young adults when the sun is still out (because that's when I normally go out...none of this nighttime business), it's a wonderful sight.

I also got to start my morning with some long-missed hot yoga. Thank God I did not disrupt the class with my coughing.

The perfect jewel to end my day is watching PVR'd episodes of The Late, Late Show with Craig Ferguson. I'm about nine days behind but I found out that he recently got twitter. I am so following him. And one day, maybe, just maybe, he will tweet to me.
