I got a pair of shoes today, and they're not Manolos or Louboutins but Mirandas! And to me that's even better since one of my best friends is named Miranda. (I know you're reading this, Smeeky! I can't wait to walk around in your namesakes!)I met up with my travelling sisters at different times and for various increments today and it was nice just being able to see them. Nicky and I looked around for the impossible stylish and comfortable work shoe for her (still yet to be found), then we saw Numz and searched some more. We gave up on shoes for a second to shop at Banana Republic (aka "Papaya Regime" according to the Sims, hehe), where Nicky found some great work pants.
Then I was introduced to Miranda (the shoe). The wonderful sales associate was recommending them to Nicky and I tried them on for fun, and I fell in love with their memory foam-lined, grey leather pump gorgeousity. Eureka, I have found comfort in shoes! (Pleuve, I hope I made you proud!) The three of us have our sights set on another pair of Banana Republic shoes as well.
After Nicky found a badass leather jacket, we met up with RaeRae to briefly hear a live band play at the Robson Square Ice Rink and then get suckered into watching a homeless magician perform some card tricks. Random!
Now I know how my Project 365ers struggle with taking photos of themselves. I had to recruit the help of my parents to help prep "the set" for my photo, and in the end my mom had to take the picture since I cannot physically separate my head and torso from my legs. I'm not that flexible, with or without yoga. Bon weekend à tous!
..and that is why I need a tripod and remote! What did your mom think of your shoes? The Jacky shoe was sooo nice.....I wish I could just borrow them whenever I needed them since I'm sure I would wear them very very rarely. Thank you for being so patient and helpful today!
ReplyDeletehahah! i love this post, giosy :D What I instantly realized, when I saw your photo, is how angry my feet would look in those heels. Can you imagine?! It's like throwing a cherry tomato at a dove!
ReplyDeleteI'm so angry at my angry feet!
Hahaha @ Twinny. Giosy, I am SO proud of you!! You know how I always approve of shoe purchases. There can never be too many shoes. Never!
