XLIX: Curl Your Enthusiasm

It's the penultimate day of the Olympics and I celebrated it by:
  1. Sleeping in until 10:30am (YAY!)
  2. Going to a 75-minute long hot yoga session
Basically, doing nothing Olympic. I was going to go to a concert with Nicky and Numz but decided against it in the end. I did not feel like standing in the rain in a Surrey park when I was tired and so comfortable at home.

Instead, I watched the last few minutes of the gold medal curling game (yay for Canada!). The most amusing part, other than discovering a hot curler, was the hilarity of watching one of the Swiss bronze medalists totally checking out one of the flower bearers as she stood in front of the team. He was staring at her, talking to his teammate, and looking in her direction again. And the camera caught it all. If only I had recorded it. I had to phone RaeRae right away to share the news. Nice focus, Swiss curler. You just won a bronze medal and you're still checking out girls.

Right now they're replaying the figure skating exhibition gala and it's so much more fun to watch than the competition. They should have stuff like this for skaters before the games so that they can loosen up!
