CCCXXIV: Bygones

I would gladly supply my name to whoever is campaigning for a three-day weekend. Saturday came and went with no real effect other than continued sleep deprivation, 2 yoga classes, a voice class, and rewatching Star Trek (the 2009 movie). I didn't have lunch due to time constraints and though dinner was full and delicious, I am starting to feel hungry...I'm thinking some mediterranean yogurt with honey and granola. Mmm.

I came to the realization today (I think it's been slowly seeping into my consciousness) that I'm at a stage of my life where I am ready to close the door to the past. Not that I had a particularly troubled one or anything. But far too often, I get pangs of regret, what-ifs, and buts; wishing some things turned out differently and being hung up on impossibilities. I am thirsty for a fresh start and cannot wait for Florence to be my sidekick (musical/geographical pun and metaphor! Of course I mean the city but I couldn't resist...wordsmiths, unite!).
