What a relief that the conference is done, a joy that it was well-received this year, and a greater joy that I have that huge weight off my shoulders! It's a bit surreal and will take some time to process, but I'm sure that the post-conference celebration Bellini along with the half-glass of Valpolicella at dinner will help me gracefully (or gracelessly) accept the reality of freedom!
And in fact, they did--in aiding me to fall into a deep sleep on the couch while trying to watch one of my 40+ PVR'd movies. Oops.
