I know you were probably all sitting at the edge of your seat waiting for me to tell you about the personalities involved in The Tipping Point, and of course I didn't forget--this blog is one of the only things that keeps me intellectually and creatively stimulated (though you probably couldn't tell)--however, I am exhausted after an extremely strenuous hot yoga class after work today and could fall asleep at any minute. I have never encountered such intense heat and humidity for such an extended period of time (one full hour! I can only last a few minutes in the sauna!). I am pretty sure it was 60°C if you take into account said humidity, because it really felt like it. I have been in Death Valley (Las Vegas, Nevada) at 55°C; mind you, it was only for a few seconds when we pulled our car over to feel the burn of the hot sun...
And has anyone else been hungrier than usual this week? There go my healthier eating habits from the past few weeks. I was eating slower and smaller portions because I got full faster (and no, I didn't have enough vegetables); but now I'm just constantly hungry and have been indulging in desserts far more than usual!
Don't they always make it the same heat/humidity?? why is it so much worse this time?
ReplyDeleteNo, some instructors set the temperature higher than others. Plus when you have 50 people (yesterday) sweating in a room as opposed to 20 (most early mornings), it gets much more humid!
