Avril Lavigne annoys me. Granted, I cannot judge her as I do not know her, nor does my opinion of any other human being really matter in the grand scheme of things, but I have been exposed to a certain commercial that frustrates me immensely.
She keeps saying "...to..." and her intonation is more immature than it should be. She's 25 years old! Grow up! Plus when she smiles it is very obviously fake, and it is clear she is wearing a thick layer of makeup. Blargh.
It annoys me even more than when there are leftover categories in Jeopardy because contestants run out of time. AHHH that's the worst, especially if it was a category I was looking forward to. Like tonight's leftover category: Roman City Names. They only uncovered the $2000 question: Turicum. And I got it when none of the contestants did! Zurich.
So television has left me vexed this evening. Television and 4.5 hours of sleep last night. I hope this is my only mean blog entry...don't get me started on the wasteland this season of American Idol is turning out to be.
I like some of Avril's songs!! Justin Bieber annoys me even more. I can't believe typing in "Justin" in google comes up with "Justin Bieber" as the second option while "Justin Timberlake" is in 4th.

ReplyDeleteAvril was also a guest judge on AI. I found that extremely inappropriate, as her "talent" encompasses her public image and not her singing ability. She proved me right (in thinking she'd suck as a judge) because she just wore her devil horned hood and laughed at all the contestants. She had nothing substantial to say.

AHHH don't get me started on Miley too. Yes, RaeRae. Definite WTML? And WTMC (what the Miley Cyrus)?! She was way underqualified to be a mentor as she does not have the singing/song-writing talents of past AI mentors.
