LV: Designer Shades

Today, I set three goals for myself:
  1. Wake up in time to catch bus for 6:30am hot yoga class
  2. Buy a 3-month unlimited yoga pass
  3. Buy new glasses
Check, check, and check, my friends.
  1. I discovered, by oversleeping, that I can actually take the bus after the one I normally take. SCORE! Extra 15 minutes of sleep and 15 minutes less of unnecessary wait-times. Goodbye, 5:35am bus. I will not miss you. I am also looking forward to the next three months of flow wellness and making this commitment worth every penny.
  2. I had way more energy and pep this morning than I have in a very long time. I think it was a combination of a week's lack of sleep (=fewer inhibitions), yoga, and a slightly bigger breakfast than normal.
  3. It took me half an hour after work to decide whether or not I should trek out to Richmond to go to an optical centre that I had never been to before, based on the recommendation of a friend. I decided to suck it up and go after whining about my predicament to two people. What started off unsuccessful ended up exceeding my expectations, as I managed to get 2 pairs of glasses plus a pair of sunglasses within my budget. I couldn't decide between the 2 pairs of glasses, even though Smeek and her boyfriend stopped by briefly and preferred one pair over the other, so, thanks to my fewer inhibitions and impatience, I thought, "Screw it, I'll just get all three if they can give me a good price."
Now to achieve an old goal: get enough sleep!
