CCXCVIII: Frozen

You know that winter's in the air when your inhalations chill your alveoli. At least that's what it feels like. Okay, maybe I'm exaggerating since 6°C isn't below zero, but as I walked around downtown during my lunch break today I couldn't help but feel that my scarf, winter jacket, and hood weren't succeeding in keeping me warm. No, I'm going to have to start bringing out the big guns: the shapeless puffy down jacket. The bride of the Michelin Man.

I also had fantasies of curling up into my bed to sleep--not with the Michelin Man.

Then again, it just started hailing outside my window so I guess I wasn't wrong in saying that the winter is upon us. Oh Autumn, why did you leaf so quickly?
