CCCXVIII: Specialtea

People underestimate the value of afternoon tea.

I used to enjoy daily tea breaks at work with Oli after lunch until it became more of a weekly or bi-weekly tradition. The best cups we had were of PG Tips (thanks to RaeRae and her bro for the recommendation).

Then there are the soy chai lattes I enjoy so dearly (and limit myself from) at Café Afson. It's my favourite hot beverage ever made, hands down. It even beats you, Starbucks Pumpkin Spice Latté.

Today at home our family enjoyed an impromptu spot of tea, made all the better by the small complementary desserts: a lightly buttered blackcurrant scone from Murchie's and a pecan tart from Saint Germain Bakery. YUM. And the tea we enjoyed? Handcrafted chai lattés made by yours truly.
