I performed makeovers on so many people today that my eyes and back hurt. Probably because this was all done on a computer game.
Oh, Sims 3, you have found your way back into my weekends. Who's to know what old lazy habits you will bring with you? It's all thanks to an email I received from EA Games regarding their Black Friday sale. When I saw that both the expansion and stuff packs I had previously had my eye on were 50% off, I knew it was meant to be. So after a few clicks (the sale only applied to digital downloads vs. physical copies) and a couple of installations and hours later, I found my way back to the PC and chair I used to know so dearly before Chloe came into my life. It was a "sit" through memory lane.
The Ambitions expansion pack offers some new professions and a whole new aspect of game play. I can finally control what my Sim does at work, which makes it more time-consuming. I've only played one game so far as Amy Bull (I didn't create her. If I did she would have had a much better name), a wannabe stylist, who when I started off with her had a bit over 1000 Simoleons and had a part-time job in the spa and by the evening she had about 12K and was on the second last stage of the stylist career ladder. That's a lot of makeovers, guys. I've been living What Not to Wear, digital and imaginative styles.
And I know this was of no interest to you whatsoever. Tant pis!
