Maybe I've been living under a rock for the past year, but when did music-sharing programs such as the one loosely alluded to in today's title become disabled? I had been compiling a list of songs to download since January but never got around to it because I didn't want to have to redo all of my iPod settings post-MacBook purchase. But some syncing was inevitable a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday, in my excitement to get some Patrick Watson for my iPod and ears' enjoyment, I realized it could not be...for free.
Does this mean I am chained to iTunes or HMV for my music needs? Or am I destined to continue replaying things on YouTube? By no means am I a strict downloader. When I love an artist, I buy CDs. But when there's just one song I want, it's nice to have the option to get it without strings attached. 99 cents isn't a lot of money. When multiplied by 30 though, it adds up...
it sucks big time. I have about 4 of Patrick's album I can give you, Giosy! Save your pennies =)
