Bunny and I were long-overdue for some catching up. We hadn't spent some quality time with each other for months, so I was happy to find out that she would be free today and wanted to try yoga. I had to scrap our original plans for 7:00am core due to my late night, but I think our 9:30am hatha class ended up being a nice and relaxing start to the Thanksgiving long weekend.
After a bit of time in the infrared sauna and getting ready at her place, we walked to Finch's for some lunch. And what a yummy lunch it was! It was my second time there and I happily ordered a large matcha chai, cookie, and baked brie sandwich. We got a spot by the sunlit window and had a nice long chat.

We then took her dog for a walk around Gastown (note to self: Gastown on a sunny afternoon is a great place for a date!), during which I bought an overpriced but welcome carrot apple juice from
The Juice Truck, and then we spent a couple more hours at her place.
Later on that night, I met up with Nicky and her friends for some rock climbing. I hadn't been in months and as a result, my hands were softer and not as resistant to pain as they used to be (back when I would go rock climbing more often than once a year!). My favourite part was when I tied my chalk-bag around her waist while singing Whitney Houston's "I Will Always Love You" (since I forgot the tune to the song from
Ghost). The guy working at the climbing gym quickly asked what we were up to, and later when she was repaying the favour he happened to walk by and make a funny remark again. We're just two bozos!
hahaha i bet he thinks we are bozo lovers.
