CCXXXVII: French Kissed

Tonight, a family friend in White Rock recommended a Japanese restaurant nearby for Pleuve and I to visit. I am so glad we listened to her because I had quite possibly the best roll of MAH LIFE! I am just sorry that I did not have my camera with me so that you could get a visual.

The restaurant's name is Sho Chiku and is located on 1357 Johnston Road, White Rock, between Thrift and Roper streets. The amazing roll I had was the French Kiss, comprised of black rice, tuna, salmon, avocado, prawn tempura, and cream cheese. Drizzled on top were green and orange sauces. OMG. Such a pleasant surprise. And if you like finding typos in menus, this place is a goldmine!

Pleuve chose the Hurricane Roll which had crab meat, baked scallop, and green onion. We shared both rolls and she preferred that one, while I clearly loved mine more.

I would very much like to be French Kissed again soon! If only I didn't have to go so far for it.
