CCLVII: Arcade Fire

The view from Section F Row 19

Tonight I had the joy of going to the Arcade Fire concert with Nicky at the Pacific Coliseum. I only knew (and thus loved) four of their songs so I could not claim full "fan" status, but I really enjoyed the experience--a melding of constantly interchanging instruments, a signature sound, and perfect synchronization and harmony. They were amazing live and I was lucky to witness it in person.

Luckily my mom's reject-camera has an awesome zoom

Thankfully they played the four songs I knew: No Cars Go, Intervention, Rebellion, and Wake Up. The other songs whose names I learned today from Nicky (thanks!) that I also liked were Power Out, Modern Man, Tunnels, The Suburbs, and Keep the Car Running.

I have a lot of new music to add to my iPod, whose name is Iggy Menta. I have not acquired anything since January (i.e. Chloe's inception) and have many lists of songs or artists to look into. Can you believe that January is just around the corner? Scary stuff, no?
