CCXL: Short Hello/Goodbye

After two quasi-sleepless nights in a row, I am counting down to sleeping at a reasonable hour tonight. I must not let myself get distracted by the internet after finishing tonight's entry. I can't guarantee that I won't try to read as much of The Count of Monte Cristo as my eyes allow me.

Today I decided to concede to my ongoing thirst for change and tell my hairdresser to cut my hair at the shortest flattering length. It was easy to say and I felt no feeling of remorse as I watched locks of my long-short hair fall to the floor--most likely because I trust her opinion completely. Similar to how I ask waiters in restaurants to help me choose between my top few selections. (Some would call this laziness or inability to make a decision; I call it a thorough use of expert opinion.)

So it has been a short goodbye, since hair grows back, and a hello to short hair. It will take awhile to get used to it.
