Circle Craft Christmas Market

Ma and I went to the Circle Craft Christmas Market for the first time tonight and its size was overwhelming. The presence of 300+ artisans meant that I would need to be selective with my attention, which ended up being easy since most of the goods did not interest me. The prices were quite high too--I was surprised to learn that a beautiful hat I tried on would cost me $140, causing me to slowly back away.

We ended up splitting ways pretty early on due to my fast-pacedness and her desire to photograph almost everything. I was originally going to come with Boy but as he hasn't been feeling well I asked Ma to come instead.

During my stroll I was happy to bump into Mylo (she surprised me!) as well as Pleuve's dad, who had a booth for his ceramics there. Before I saw him, though, his employee and I were talking and within a couple of minutes he was asking me what I wanted to do in life. I was speechless. And it wasn't the first time either. I really don't know what I want to do with my life.

Other highlights of the Christmas Market included a truffle goat cheese, animal hats, cute puppets, and my favourite part -- the fake books (right). I encountered these at the end of my time there and was so happy to see that they were being made. Since I was little, I've always wanted to have a fake book to store things in.

I was very close to purchasing one but at that point I was so tired by the day that I just wanted to go home for dinner.
