I am on day three of my yoga experiment and its resulting sleep deprivation, so tonight's entry will be short. I had five hours of sleep last night (12am-5am) and anticipate waking up even earlier tomorrow (4:30am!) in order to attend a 6:30am hot yoga class. Mylo and I prefer the quiet and empty classes and changerooms in the early morning vs. the crowded and full classes of the evenings.
Good news, the staff found my mat and gave it back to me safe, sound, and unused this morning! I took it back to the office with me and labelled both ends with "♥JB". Hopefully that will deter future mixups. I don't know what to name my mat yet. My sleepiness has definitely drained me of mood, creativity, and sociability. I found myself sounding quite apathetic towards quite a few people today and do not like that! So while my body is reaping the rewards of yoga, it is also suffering from the sacrifice of sleep.
Yay I'm glad you got your mat back! Are you going to keep doing yoga after the 2 weeks?
ReplyDeleteI hope you're in bed, Giosy! It is very difficult getting up so early in the morning, but how rewarding is it, after you're done yoga and you're all refreshed? Remember not to give in to temptations of cool, creamy McFlurries! You wouldn't want to put all your hard work to waste
