A Taste

I just reread what I wrote yesterday and I can tell I was clearly not editing (or awake).

Boy and I had a really nice Saturdate today complete with biking, wandering around a grocery store we'd never been to before, making dinner (that's the second Saturday in a row that we've done the latter two!), and watching a movie.  We had a lot of stops along our bike ride, including a few in Chinatown (tea, coffee, vegan meats) and one on our way back in Olympic Village to Legacy Liquor Store, where they were doing tastings.  We ended up buying two new products because of the tastings:

  1. Castanzu Vermentino di Sardegna - a fruity white wine that tasted unlike any other we've had.
  2. Faculty Brewing Co. 107 Blonde - a blonde ale that I didn't mind (I normally don't enjoy beers).
For dinner we made pizza from scratch, using my KitchenAid mixer's dough hook for the first time and trying out a dough recipe with all 00 flour.  And for once, we started cooking earlier and not at 8:00 or 9:00pm, so we had time to flop on the couch before going straight to bed.  We watched Shark Tank with dinner (our usual dinner entertainment) and then I, Tonya after--and what a story!  Boy and I were so relieved at being loving and well-adjusted vs. abusive and toxic.

And I still have no inkling about how actors are able to be or inhabit other characters.  I feel like I could only ever be me.
