Saturday
- Breakfast at Boy's
- Rest of day spent being my mom's chauffeur from Villetta to Burnaby to Downtown to the West End to East Vancouver as she/we accomplished various errands which included mani-pedis and getting our hair done (my locks are short again!)
- Dinner at Guu Garlic was guu'd and very fry-ful, leading to face explosions on my chin :(
Sunday
- Italian mass with Ma
- Drove Ma to the airport
- Met up with Smeek for cheese che lun beng ("carwheel" biscuits) and bubble tea. She was picking up her mom at the airport shortly thereafter. We sure have travelling mothers!
Monday
- Left for Camano Island with Boy in the early afternoon. The Nexus pass is awesome!
- Stopped by Old Fairhaven for lunch and a stroll
- Read books and played Scrabble in our room, and caught up on lots of sleep
Tuesday
- Enjoyed a very full breakfast at the inn -- my first ever Eggs Benedict!
- Explored the Camano Island State Park
- Relaxed in our room for more naps, reading and Scrabble
Wednesday
- Another full breakfast
- Shopping at Seattle Premium Outlets for the first time. Boy bought some Converse shoes and I got a hoodie
- Trader Joe's in Bellingham for groceries and snacks
- Dinner in Villetta
Thursday
- Work
- Rushed packing for Whistler as I realized that I couldn't park my car at home after 7:00am because of street cleaning
- Pasta at Boy's house
- Drove to Ma's place in Burnaby to pick up my swimsuit for Whistler as I realized I hadn't moved it to Villetta
Friday
- Work
- Afternoon break with Prancine which consisted of taking the Aquabus to Granville Island for matcha chais
- Picking up all the travelling sisters for Numz's stagette weekend in Whistler, which starts off with dinner tonight at Pasparos in North Vancouver
I'll get back to writing regularly once things have settled down next week. I had such a lovely time away with Boy and look forward to spending the weekend with the ragazze.
