Chiara came home from the vet's today, slightly plumper from all the IV fluids, and has been resting since I got back from work. Giagi told me that the vet said she was doing well while there but that from here on out, each day we have with her will be a blessing. She could be here for a week, a month, or more. All we can do is keep her happy and comfortable.
I keep checking on her to make sure she's still here. If it can be helped, I'd rather not have to be the one who decides when she won't be.
