Tangos & Tantrums

A few years ago, I was lucky to catch an unforgettable opening act to Sondre Lerche's show in Vancouver. Her name was Sylvie Lewis, and she captivated me with her sweet voice and simple storytelling. Originally a Brit who transferred to Los Angeles and later found her home in Rome (rhyme intended), she's a songwriter whom I admire and continue to hold a special place for even though I only love a handful of her songs. Among them is "When I Drink":

I wanted to share this song because a) it's beautiful and b) the album title is very characteristic of my mood over the past couple of days.
